Catherine's career spans a diverse portfolio of strategic planning, policy development, and executive management of organizations such as the Pew Charitable Trusts, Rockefeller Institute, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins School of Biomedical Engineering. Catherine serves on the board of directors of CALSSA, in addition to serving on the advisory board of Alegria Farmacy and the Footprint Project.
Technical Advisor & Co-Founder
In 2001, Stu's background in designing special effects and inventing solutions for motion picture production led him to develop the first powerful, lightweight battery for cameras and lights utilizing a new lithium ion technology. Simpliphi's batteries leverage 10 years of experience perfecting his original lithium ion battery electronics and assembly for motion picture professionals.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to SimpliPhi, David held roles as CFO of EV charging company Greenlots and at Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. He also served as Director of Finance for ENCO Utility Services, Manager of Business Planning and Development for Edison Enterprises, and Manager of Material Estimating and Cost Management at Northrop Grumman.
Chief Operating Officer
Sequoya Cross oversees the company’s operations and growing global network of partners, distributors, and installers, as well as managing a portfolio of energy storage and microgrid projects. Prior to joining SimpliPhi Power, Mrs. Cross served as CEO of two solar companies and has managed operations and supply chain for distribution and manufacturing of clean energy technologies within the renewable energy sector. Sequoya was also VP of Operations for AEE Solar.
Dumindra De Zoysa
Director of Supply Chain & Logistics
With 16 years of domestic and global operations leadership, Dumindra leads the continuous improvement of SimpliPhi’s supply chain and procurement. Prior to her work in operations, she was engaged in electrical engineering, testing and R&D. Dumindra earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from CSU Northridge and MBA from CSU Bakersfield.
Director of Product Test & Validation
Zak spent 14 years with CDTi Advanced Materials (formerly Catalytic Solutions, Inc.) in roles focused on testing, quality, and manufacturing. He began his career with the California State Water Resource Control Board after earning his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University.
