Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our fast paced, growing production floor operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for daily planning, scheduling and executing production activities in the safest, most efficient and cost-effective manner to meet customer expectations while delivering the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production floor including daily production planning, staffing and delivery to plan (cost, quality, customer demand, etc.)

- Using KPIs, drive continuous improvement activities to improve overall manufacturing performance and support rapid sales growth.

Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as Production Supervisor, Manager or similar role with electro / mechanical products preferred (battery, energy storage systems a plus).
- Degree in operations, engineering, or other related fields are a plus.
- Solid experience in workforce management (daily work, development, expansion, etc.)
- Experience with Lean principals to improve capabilities of quality, cost, employee performance, process improvements, etc.

Position Overview:
SimpliPhi Power is seeking an Electrical Engineer with detailed experience of Battery Energy Storage Systems with a focus on Power Conversion. As systems have become more integrated with firmware and software, battery and inverter communications are paramount. We are seeking someone with in- depth inverter and charge controller experience to ensure conformity and functionality from the battery storage system and to interface with our Engineering Team on future product development of our AmpliPHI battery with communications.
This position will be directly responsible for leading the team from an Electrical Engineering standpoint to advise on future product innovation and testing with various manufacturers. The candidate should have a broad knowledge of inverter manufacturers, interoperability with batteries and other components, their functionality and is able to anticipate and plan for expected developments throughout the process and report to management on any areas where changes need to be made.

Primary Job Duties:
- Work with test and validation team on integration of communications-based batteries with a variety of system components with particular attention to inverters, charge controls, and third-party software companies
- Work in conjunction with Embedded Systems Engineers on modification to communications protocols as necessary for integration
- Create and follow test protocols with team, driving timelines for product integration and launch to market
- Provide design solutions, update existing integration documentation, and provide comprehensive reports to management on test processes
- Perform “gap analyses” of any design shortcomings versus technical requirements related to regulatory compliance, manufacturing and safety as needed
- Provide testing and validation analyses, design guidelines, component details and test plans on an ongoing basis for future consideration
- Work closely with technical support team to acquire field feedback and drive design/integration changes into products
- Maintain and update FMEA documentation, design guidelines, component libraries and test plans on an ongoing basis through resolution
- Identify best practices and design standard via internal and industry-wide networking, continuous learning, and generally staying abreast of industry trends
- Identify appropriate internal and external stakeholders and invite to design reviews in a timely, proactive fashion; document and capture “knowledge and know-how” and integrate into both designs and living documentation
- Involvement in various regulatory committees and contribute when appropriate in terms of ESS development and codes and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Detailed knowledge of AC and DC Power Systems design and applicable codes and standards
- In-depth knowledge and experience with grid tied inverter standards including UL1741 and IEEE1547
- In-depth knowledge and experience with UL 1973, UL 9540, UL 9540A and other battery standards and fire and building code regulations that affect ESS installations
- Experience developing integrated testing protocols for ESS systems in both Low and High Voltage applications
- Experience working with Project Manager Tools
Required Qualifications:
- BS EE with a focus on Electrical Power Systems with a strong working experience with ESS
- 2+ years of electrical power system development and design experience
- Working knowledge of inverter/converter/battery technologies
- Experience in planning, managing, and executing complex product development projects in comprehensive, proactive, and holistic fashion
- Detailed understanding of engineering documentation including schematics, drawings, and BOMs
- Excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail

Primary Job Duties:
- Effectively communicate and educate existing and prospective distributors, customers and strategic partners on the company’s storage products, integrated systems and competitive advantages at conferences, trade shows, events, calls and in written communication.
- Work closely with distributor network to ensure that the distributor Sales teams are trained effectively on how to sell SimpliPhi products and integrated systems into projects.
- Track, manage, update, and prioritize leads and opportunities in company CRM to provide information and progress for all internal teams.
- Solicit feedback from external and internal stakeholders on opportunities for product development, quantify market prospects and present to cross functional teams and leadership for consideration and prioritization.
- Identify, qualify, initiate, and build collaborations with appropriate external parties to provide comprehensive solutions for development projects. Create and provide customer required documentation. Utilize software tools to quantify savings and performance measures for project proposals and analysis.
- Work with existing and new distributors to submit all required documentation, including but not limited to product specifications, safety and material data, single line drawings, 3D renderings, interoperability requirements and project specific information for applicable RFP and commercial opportunities.
- Answer pre-sale technical questions regarding company products and systems via phone, email and in person.
- Perform technical and market research, identify incentives, policies, electrical code and jurisdiction requirements that align with Company’s product offerings.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience in the renewable energy industry, with preference towards energy storage specially.
- 3+ years in a technical customer facing role in energy storage or other renewable energy technology.
- 3+ years’ experience being responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas and goals.
- Ability and experience working effectively with a remote management team.
- Critical thinker with high degree of interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and ability to synthesize and align with technical specifications and project objectives.

- Effectively communicate with and educate prospective and existing customers and strategic partnerships on the company’s products, integrated systems and competitive advantages at conferences, trade shows, events, calls, and written communication.
- Track, manage, update, and prioritize leads and opportunities in company CRM to provide information and progress for all internal teams.
- Solicit feedback from external and internal stakeholders on opportunities for product development, quantify opportunities and present to cross functional teams and leadership for prioritization.
- Identify, qualify, initiate, and build collaborations with strategic external parties to provide comprehensive solutions for development projects. Create and provide customer required documentation. Utilize software tools to quantify savings and performance measures for project proposals and analysis.
- Work with existing and new customers to submit all required documentation, including but not limited to product specifications, safety and material data, single line drawings, 3D renderings, interoperability requirements and project specific information for applicable RFP and commercial opportunities.
- Answer customers’ technical questions regarding company products and integrated systems via phone, email, and in person.
- Perform technical and market research, identify incentives, policies, electrical code and jurisdiction requirements that align with Company’s product offerings.
- Identify public and private opportunities to support in bringing company products to market. Clearly communicate opportunities with cross-functional teams and provide project proposals and strategic initiatives for approval.
- Work with governmental and regulatory organizations to facilitate rules and regulations that favor safe and non-toxic energy storage solutions.
- Work with advocacy organizations to promote energy storage.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience in the renewable energy industry, with preference towards energy storage specially.
- 3+ years in a technical customer facing role in energy storage or other renewable energy technology.
- 3+ years’ experience being responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas and goals.
- Ability and experience working effectively with a remote management team.
- Critical thinker with high degree of interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and ability to synthesize and align with technical specifications and project objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management skills and experience
- Knowledge of global, national, and state level energy and utility level policy and regulation
- A demonstrated ability to take on multiple responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Business or Chemical Engineering or similar professional experience
